Festivale Committee and Wineries partner to provide support for the Gala Cocktail Funraiser11/1/2013 Festivale is proudly supporting the Gala and we would like to thank the following wineries, all of whom will be at Festivale in a few weeks time, for donating wine for the Gala Cocktail Party: Three Wishes Vineyard, Moores Hill, Goaty Hill, Josef Chromy, Jansz, Dalrymple, Pipers Brook, Blustery Banks, Leaning Church, Ghostrock, Holm Oak, Marions Vineyard, Iron Pot Bay, Tamar Ridge and Ryanna Vineyard.
Hartz and Juicy Isle have partnered with Festivale and will be supporting our 25 year celebration in a few weeks time. So, Festivale, a supporter of the Gala Cocktail Party, is delighted that Hartz and Juicy Isle have agreed to donate juices, water and mineral water to support the fundraising effort on January 24.

The 300 x tickets allocated for the Launceston Gala Fundraiser – Launceston Responds - being organised to aid those affected by bushfires across the state have all been sold. The response from Northern Tasmanians has been phenomenal, with the event selling out in just two days. This means $15,000 has already been raised for the Tasmanian Rotary Bushfire Appeal. Due to the demand and the support of local businesses, a further (and final) allocation of 100 x tickets have been released for sale at the Princess Theatre at the original price of $50. The Gala Fundraiser will be held at the Tailrace Centre on Thursday, 24 January from 6.00pm "These fires are an enormous blow to the communities affected and I would like to express my support to those municipalities affected. We are ready to offer help" Launceston Mayor Albert van Zetten Tasmanians have been generous in the preparation for our special gala fundraising event hosted by the Launceston City Council and the Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise.

The Launceston City Council and the Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise will spearhead a gala fundraising event in Launceston in coming weeks to support Tasmanian communities impacted by bushfires. Launceston Mayor Albert van Zetten has expressed his sympathies to all those affected by the fires. "These fires will be an enormous blow to the communities concerned and I would like to express my support to the municipalities affected. They will have an enormous job to do in coming weeks and months and we will be ready to offer help should it be required.” Launceston will host a special gala fundraising event on Thursday 24 January with all proceeds going to Rotary Tasmania, to distribute to those affected by the recent fires.
From Monday morning, Launceston City Council Customer Service Centre will be accepting donations of items that can be used for raffles, fundraising and auction items.
