Registrations will close on 1 March 2013 for the District event of 2013.  Check out the Event Website or join the Event Facebook page for more information.   The program for this year's event focuses in renewing your conviction and passion about Rotary.  If you are not able to attend all of the sessions you can select to attend one session or a mix of sessions.  

The speakers line up this year includes Rachel Treasure, Sebastian Terry, Michael McQueen, Katherine Reed, Dr Hamish Maxwell-Stewart and Rotary International representative Nick Curry.   There is also the Australian Rotary Health Bike Ride (our club is sponsoring a yellow jersey rider) and a The Annual Golf Day.

Volunteer Rotarians and Engineers through Engineers Australia Tasmania Division in conjunction with University of Tasmania, play an important role as judges and mentors in the Challenge. Volunteering is an opportunity to encourage school students to consider a future career in science and engineering by choosing to study subjects such as maths, physics and chemistry (the enabling sciences) in years 11 and 12.

Volunteering can be for one or two days. The enthusiasm shown by schools is wonderful; we anticipate full capacity of 8 teams competing per day.
