This week we are meeting in the studio and will be building on the work that was completed at the club workshop (Saturday 16 February 2013). The notes from the club workshop are available and can be accessed from the members section on this website (email Mel if you need a password reminder).

Diary Note: One of the projects our club has been involved in for some years now is Bowel Scan month. This year we have been advised that the Bowel Scan Program is being "improved", and new kits will not be available until next year. Screening is recommended at least bi-annually and we will be introducing the new you-beaut kits in 2014. Stocks of the unsold kits purchased this year have been returned to Rotary Health for a full refund.
Coming up for Community is manning the gate at the Agfest Field Days on Saturday 4th May and the fundraiser BBQ at Bunnings on Saturday 18th May for our Books for Kinder program. I have yet to hear of our success or otherwise of a grant application submitted to the Tasmanian Early Years Foundation for Books for Babies 2013 - Judy (Community Projects Director). We have expanded our social networks to include Twitter! You can now get updates from the club through Twitter, Facebook, the Blog, our Webpage and the Club e-newsletter. Keeping in touch with what the club is up to and what we've got coming up has never been easier Follow us on Twitter: @RotaryTamarSun |
