Hey everyone, what a great birthday party we had with Rotaract last week. It was a fantastic night to reflect on where both clubs have come from. Special recognition to our charter members, past presidents, presidents and District Governor Elect (and Lesley) who attended. Friends, partners and members made it a great evening, particularly as we enjoyed the innovation to some classic party games organised by Susan N and Kathy. Thanks to all who organised the evening and made it the fun event it was. Now onto the 20th and 10th (well that WILL be huge!).
This week at Tamar Sunrise we have our guest speaker Carmen from Family Violence, Children and Young People Program. Our members minute will be Leigh who will report on the District Assembly at Cressy District High School. Sunday 30th May - Club Planning Day 10-2pm with lunch provided. The venue will be confirmed in a separate email early this week. Please RSVP to [email protected] if you are attending (for catering purposes). UPDATE Don't forget it is a new procedure for breakfast: Step 1 Place your order at the counter in the Restaurant (this is the normal customer counter, where you order and pay on Casual Meeting days). WE NO LONGER ORDER ANYTHING AT THE HOTEL RECEPTION DESK. · Make sure you provide your name at the time of making the order. You can order anything at all off the Breakfast Menu. · Order your drinks at the same time, at the same counter. WE NO LONGER ORDER ANYTHING AT THE HOTEL RECEPTION DESK. Step 2 Pay using cash or card. Step 3 Make your way into the Meeting Room and purchase raffle tickets and make any payment off your dues. At the same time, collect a card with your name on it, so that they know your name for delivering your meal/drink. *** If you are the Club Captain, it your responsibility to get some petty cash from Lou/David at the door and order the Guest Speaker's meal and drinks, using the steps above. You must provide Lou/David with a receipt.
