This week at Tamar Sunrise we enjoyed our changeover dinner at Rosevears Tavern. What a fantastic casual lunch. We kicked off with singing happy birthday to Warwick before heading into the "Knob Award". Congratulations must go to Lou for her achievement in being only the second person to win the award twice - a fine effort Lou! We then commenced the changeover by acknowledging what a busy year we had. Congratulations to Leigh and the new board (Secretary - Danny, Treasurer - Judy, Domestic - Toni, International - Lou, E-media - Jane, President Elect - Susan N). I am sure you will all have a great year. Thank you for the wonderful flowers and the massage that I can already feel! As I mentioned in my thank you, I am proud to be a part of this great club and volunteering with you all over the last year. Together we have achieved amazing things - so it should be a great year under Leigh's leadership as we bring a gift to the world for 2015-16. This week it will be Leigh's first meeting as Club President. We hear from Denise Talbot who is conducting an International Days for Girls Project. This is a volunteer program that sews, packages and distributes female sanitary packs to women in over 70 third world countries. Our member's minute is a mystery...bound to be exciting! Louis heads off on Monday 13 August 2015 - back to France - safe journey (or should that be Bon Voyage).
