What is your vocation and how did you get started in your current role?
I am a Program Support Manager with the Department of Human Services (Centrelink Master Program).  Among other things I have responsibility for the 'Service Recovery Unit' for Zone Tasmania.  This role involves managing customer complaints, liaising with the office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman and
preparing Ministerial responses.

I started with the Department of Social Security on a six week contract just after I finished uni. Fifteen years later I'm still there (DSS having become Centrelink and now DHS).

I spent 10 years as a Team Leader in our Call Network.  I've spent the past five years in a variety of Service Delivery Manager and Program Support Manager roles.

What's your idea of a perfect holiday?
I'm going to say a cruise - although I've yet to go on one!  I also love to travel to interesting places - my favourite so far is Turkey.

Which reality tv show would you like to star in?
The Amazing Race or My Kitchen Rules.

What is one of the things on your bucket list?
I'd like to go to Antarctica one day (but nowhere near any Penguins - birds really, really scare me).

What are some of your interests (outside of Rotary?!)
Shopping
Cooking - I've been playing with my little smoker lately
Making glass beads with my little blow torch
Study - I'm currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management
Going out with friends
Going to the gym (not often enough)
Trying new things - I've just purchased a Ukelele!

Who would you like to sit next to on a plane?
Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.
